About Forgotexpected Concrete and How Referrals Work

Who we are
Forgotexpected Concrete is a referral service for homeowners in Kirkland, WA and the Kirkland area. We help people who plan a new concrete driveway or patio. We do not pour concrete. Independent local providers do that work.
Why this site exists
Concrete is hard to undo. A weak plan can leave you with a cracked slab or a puddle by the garage door. Many homeowners start without knowing what a good job looks like.
So we explain first. Every trade term gets a short definition. Our rule is simple: help, then hand off.
What you can do yourself
Some tasks are safe for a homeowner. Clear the site. Move planters and bins. Measure the space roughly. Take photos. Mark where water sits after rain. Write down how you plan to use the area.
Leave the rest to a pro. Digging, forms, steel bars, mixing, pouring, and finishing need heavy tools and fast timing. Wet concrete can also burn skin.
How providers are matched
You send a request for an estimate. We read the job type and your location. Then we pass it to a provider in our network who takes that kind of work.
The provider contacts you to talk through the details. They may visit the site before they quote. You can also Request a callback to check provider availability.
What we expect from providers
Providers in our network are independent businesses. We ask them to explain the scope in plain words, give a written quote, follow local permit and license rules, and answer your questions clearly.
You decide who to hire. Compare quotes. Ask about the base, the drainage, and the finish before you sign.
What we do not do
We do not pour, repair, or inspect concrete. We do not set prices. We do not promise a result. Your agreement is with the provider.
This site is for new work. If you need foundation repair experts or a fix for an old slab, that is a different job, and a specialist for that work is the better fit.
How we are paid
Providers in our network may pay a referral fee when we connect them with a homeowner. You do not pay Forgotexpected Concrete to use this site. The price of the job is set between you and the provider, so always get it in writing.
